Jeep key services in detail
All keys lost. When there is no working Jeep key left, we originate one. The blade is cut to the vehicle's key code or decoded from the door or ignition lock, then the transponder or smart key is written into the immobilizer so the engine will start. Depending on the model year this is done through the OBD port or, on some encrypted platforms, on the bench.
Spare keys. If you still have one working key, adding a second is quicker and cheaper. We recommend every Jeep owner keep a spare at home - a single key is the number one reason people end up paying for an emergency call.
Remote and fob repair. Buttons that stopped responding are often a dead battery, a cracked shell or a broken solder joint rather than a failed fob. We test, repair or replace the shell and re-sync the remote functions.
Broken key extraction. Snapped a blade in the ignition or door? We extract the broken piece without damaging the cylinder and produce a fresh key on the spot.
Ignition problems. A key that will not turn, or turns without cranking, usually means a worn cylinder or worn key. We repair or replace the ignition lock and rekey it to your existing key when possible.
Vehicle lockouts. Keys locked inside? We open Jeep doors with proper automotive tools - no drilling, no broken windows, no scratched paint.
